Florida rain can't stop this love!

Well! I'm so happy to share the proposal - engagement - celebration of S&H! We were tracking the storm radar (which is not reliable, as Floridians know) ALL day, coordinating with @thepicnicsocial and S. 100 roses, plush blankets, wine, and a charcuterie board was all set up and ready to go. During the setup, we were getting harsh sunlight and drops of rain, which I thought would be okay (at that time).

The setup was a mile away from Don Cesar where S&H was staying. I could see the looming rain clouds inching in our direction but I was hoping everything would work on. As I was hiding behind the bushes in Passe-a-Grille beach, I noticed some curious eyes peek over the beach access path and hide back. As much planning and coordinating as we did, our surprise was slightly less of one because H decided to be proactive and scout the scene!

The big question

I was literally texting Summer back and forth..."ok stall. ok. need 5 minutes" because we were literally timing everything based on the rolling gray clouds that was inching towards us. Luckily, the set up was completed and we were able to get ready for the proposal. I was standing in the grassy area, trying to be discreet, then I see this woman's head pop out with curious eyes from the parking lot area. I never met H before, but I KNEW our cover was blown!

As much as S was disappointed that she wasn't able to really surprise H, it was still a pleasant 5 minute experience for the proposal! S did a great job positioning herself and H for the best photos (like we talked about, that's my girl!!!).

THE REVEAL

"You're here, again?!"

H was definitely surprised to see me at every stop (at the proposal, the engagement session location, and the dinner celebration). S & I were pretty chillax and cool about saying "see you, congrats!". I felt pretty good about our awesome planning. In the end, H&S celebrated their love at Red Mesa Catina with their family and closest friends. The details and theme were super cute! Congrats to H&S, so thankful I was able to be a part of your day!

love & HUGS!
